They called asking for my address.

This person stole $250 from me May 17, 2009 at 1:00am. Beat me up and took my money in my own front yard. Jumped in a truck and drove off. I need a address, work address anything you have.

He says he is from FBI, but I hung up before I knew what he wanted, but had heard this scam was going around - fishing for social security numbers..I hung up on him; he called twice before he gave up.

It’s a social security number scam. Man with Indian accent called me to warn me of pending legal action against me involving illegal use of my social security number. Very sensitive case, he said. He claimed he was an enforcement agent and read me his ID number. I said unless he was ready to send me the enforcement order to my home address he could go pound sand, then he hung up on me. Called me three times on my cell phone, one was a robo message. BEWARE!!!!!!!!
