Called number got machine it did not identify who I was calling I did not leave message

multiple calls no message left. Anyone know who this is?

I recieved a text saying "Hi is this * (my name)." I replied with "Yes, who is this?" thinking that it was one of my friends although I had not given my number to anyone recently. Their reply was insulting and I would like to find out what kind of person would reply "Who knows not you"
