Suspected scam

this number belongs to a person trying to defraud people on craigslist involving bad checks for car purchases.

i have got a ring with this no. numerous times. these people never ever pass on a msg, which was suspicious in itself. This is not the 1st ring i have got with this region code. i am happy that websites just like this exist, therefore I can obtain all the info I can about junk callers.

I do not know what they want it comes up on the caller id as InteralRevenu. And since I know I owe the IRS nothing I just do not answer it.

call saying it was from the goverenment re: social security fraud and saying your social security number has been suspended

Calls at least 5-6 times a day silent on the other end no voice mail I suspect a scam is starting

multiple calls fromt hsi number over a period of 6 weeks, leaving no message. On calling the number back it goes to voicemail at extension 7103. At the end of voicemail activity asks to dial 0 for operator or 9 for phone directory. Never gets to operator. Phone directory does not work
