stop calling my phone number! called 6 times today!

I recently have been receiving calls from this number and when I answered it was someone contacting me about getting an online degree.

I got the same thing the past 2 days, i missed the calland when i tried to call back it says that it is disconnected or doesn't exist.

multiples phone call was made to my son without leaving a message who is this person trying to reach

This telephone number seemed on our Calling-ID two-three times the other day. we just rang the no. back & had a fax tone. anyone out there no exactly what this might be? it is in Ohio & we do not recognise any one there.
