Called, asked for wife, in shower, wants financial help for cancer patients, sounds like a SCAM

I started getting calls from this number on 10/9/12 and they've been calling 2x a day every day ever since. I never answer and they never leave a voice mail. I've been plagued by calls from various #s nationwide for The Kitsap Sun since I cancelled my subscription so the previous poster's comment makes sense.

Unknown caller called from Texas, several times without ever leaving a message. Definitely an annoyance!

Collections agency; gentleman refused to identify himself or what he did until pressed. Obviously not very good at his job or he wouldn't be both cold-calling and so slow to explain why he was calling.

just got another call from this number: 609-318-5560; DPOA show on the caller id. they never leave a message. Who is this? Does anyone know?
