Called me and said I had fraud activity. I told them to mail me and that I was reporting them.

I received a check from a company called Fence-Work, a financial service. The letter included a phone number to call for further instructions on what to do next with this check. I'm just wondering if this is a legitimate phone number or just another scam. Thank you for any help you can offer.
