caller id: unknown name purportedly a call from GE Security Systems, a live male person with a New Jersey or New York accent, offering a free security system if I allow a yard sign to advertise GE in my yard. I asked him where his company is headquartered; he didn't know and asked me to hold while he checked on this. the phone went dead and he obviously disconnected. yet another phone scam!
