Millions Call

I received similar messages about selling home security system.I filed a complaint with the FTC - https://complaints.donotcall.gov/.Always report these companies to the FTC Do Not Call National Registry.

Calls repeatedly from different 1-800 numbers. When the call is answered, caller hangs up. Return calls do not go through. Calls occur about every 20 minutes.

CALL 4-5 X PER DAY. 'DIRECT MERCHANT SERVICES'. CLAIM THEY ARE NOT SELLING ANYTHING. WHEN YOU DIAL THE # BACK IT SAYS IT IS UNLISTED. WHEN YOU ASK TO BE REMOVED FROM THEIR CALL LIST - THEY ACT LIKE THEY DON'T KNOW WHAT YOU ARE TALKING ABOUT.

Four calls from this number, with no message left. That's two beyond my limit, so now it gets blocked.

i believe this is from blue cross blue shield. strange is that a friend from texas received a call from this number that is from the chicago, il area. she does have BCBS, but from texas. weird? dunno. any other ideas?
