Scam artist trying to get cash from older widows!

I received a text message on my cell phone stating "Hiring in your Area! Secret Shoppers Needed Make up to $50/hr Call 8557864660 Now Reply stop4optout. The text was sent on Saturday, April 28,2012 at 5:27pm. Curious about what this was about, I called and them back. They first asked for my zip code and my phone number. Then they asked if I had a checking account, debit card or credit card. I asked them why they needed this information and they said so they could send the paychecks direct deposit. I told them I would not give them this information because I did not know who they were. They did not bother to tell me about the job as a secret shopper and where I would be working. I had a feeling it was a rip off.
