Can't collection agencies call whoever they want, as long as they don't break the law by disclosing people personal information?

Same thing for me, scam trying to get me to purchase green dot cards and give them the pin numbers. Do not believe them

these people ring us once a hour, every hour. picked up once, & these people proclaimed these people wanted verification of our shipping address for a online tooth whitening system we ordered. we provided this to them, & now these people ring us eight times a day, never ever leaving a msg. Beyond irritating.
