Please block this number this strange man keep hassling my number

This no. has been text messaging many ppl calaiming to be me, & looking ppl for inappropriate pictures, also as sending 'em pictures that these people took. We are desperate, when we ring the no. this calls & subsequently goes to a msg that states 'this was a no. for a iPhone or iPod touch application' or some thing to that effect. we do not recognise exactly what to do.

Got this call yesterday (3/21) and blocked call. Today came with no number just private call - not if how to block but beware of new strategy.

called and said nothing, hear background noise but nobody speaks

Call about ss# being used illegally .Don't know what to do. I fear it's a scam. BEWARE

I received several text and picture mails from this number that were strangeweird and made no sense this person is not in my address book.
