Millions Call

Accent sounded like from India. Background noise was so loud I was unable to hear caller. I suspect this is a scam.

The evil US Census Bureau with invasive marketing questions to illegally sell our private information to corporate entities under the threat of penalties. Violation of our 4th Amendment. I have told them never to call, but they laugh and insist that they will continue to call. They call at 6am or anytime of the day many times under various phone numbers. I have searched to find a phone number official US Census Bureau Regional Directors, which has verified that the unwanted harassing calls are indeed from the US Census. After taking several days and many hours, I have been told by a Regional Director that all calls from all regions will stop, but the calls continue to harass me. Several months later, I continue to call the regional offices to make it stop.

Answered it. Dead air. Clicked off. Called the number big surprise its not a valid telephone number. Phone Location Lookup indicates the Area Code is also phoney!! Another group of rip-off telemarketers hiding behind a fake telephone number. How novel!!

We have had the same calls. In this case is was a Martin Thomas with foreign accent. They stated they are located in Edmonton, and gave a phone number of 1-315-633-3110. Told him we are not interested and ended the call. He called back again and told them to remove our number, and if they ever call back we would take legal action. He stated there is nothing we can do and refused to confirm they will. It contact us again. I dialed their number and no one answers and no answering machine. For sure a scam, they can't link IP address with home phone numbers, this is protected by law under privacy act.
