I've gotten three calls from this number. No messge is left. When I called back the operator says that the number has been disconnected or no longer in service.

This no. has rang at random times since we switched mobile telephone service to AT&T. Googling the no. leads to a Velma Johnson in Clarksdale, MS. Coincidentally (?) there was a Velma Johnson on LinkedIn whose industry was 'market research consultant & contractor'.
