Some one named Cindy Johnson called my father in laws cell number asking for me but wouldn't give any information. When my husband called her back she said I was under investigation and needed to call back immediately, but wouldn't give anything but a supposed account number. My husband incist that I call back and take care of it but he doesn't understand that these are scams and they use these tactics to get your account numbers. If they were legit they would give you all the information you are requesting in writing and over the phone, but they don't. My utility company even has a warning when you call stating that there are people calling saying you owe or can set up to make bill payments every month for you, just to get your account numbers and personal information. This is getting a little rediculous. the government needs to do something about this so that these people can be held responsible for what they are doing.
