Fraudulent -- they posed as a conference planning company, acting on behalf of Hilton, calling to book rooms for a legit trade conference my company is attending at a Hilton this fall. When I asked for specific contact details for the trade organization, and the conference contact at Hilton, they hung up. Not the first call of this nature acting to represent legitimate businesses to get payment information. Be warned.

I received a text from this number timestamped for 2123 that ...

775-453-2965 called not once but twice this morning between 3:10AM and 3:17AM. All that is heard after answering is a computer beep.
