has actually been identified as source of unwanted phone calls and a complaint has been submitted with the FCC

so first i hear a computer voice, then it rings and i get transferred to an agent. he kept asking me personal questions like what i do, where i study, how old i am, and i was like ok these are harmless questions to answer, but i asked him why are you asking me all these questions but then he asked if i had a boyfriend so i was like ok, this is getting really sketchy so i hung up.

Calling from something Canada service but would not clearly identify what it was, which is quite typical of scammers

They try to let you say your name yes within the phone, so that they then have a recording to prove that a loan was approved by you for them in your own account. Dont say anything and just hang them up. If they continue to call, purchase a call-blocking phone and include their number to block them from getting additional calls though to you. That works!!
