Grievance 1st launched on 2020-08-26 in Vermont for Unwanted Calls

I received a call from this number from a person disquising their voice and saying some very negative things about my husband. When I tried to call the number back I got a message saying the number was disconnected.

A man named Josh has called here twice now, trying to convince me I bought some computer service and they are no longer going to continue service, so they were going to refund my money of $299.00. Trying to get me to fill out an app on computer with all my information. Is a total fraud! He also gave me the same ph. number as written in statement above.

This "security company" is calling at all hours. 10:45 pm... 4:24 am!!! These people need to GO AWAY!!!

Some unknown caller called my phone at strange hours.

Here's a portion of another blog comment for a caller with a similar phone number that helped me to stop these phone calls; I've gotten a HUGE number of calls from this phone number so I researched and found a do not call request service at 866-246-7196. They said this service is for a small number of companies that call consumers that want to minimize complaints and save time not calling people who don't want to be called. Sounded like a win/win so I gave them the caller's phone numbers and 2 of the 4 phone numbers verified on their list then they added my receiving phone number to the do not call list. I haven't gotten anymore calls since then so I wanted to pass this on.
