Millions Call

Caller said they represented Discovery Credit Card and requested my birth date and social security number and other personal data so that they could activate the credit card I had been preapproved for. Further investigation identifies this number as a land line but not a commercial or business.

Thanks for your submission on Facebook regarding credit repair you are approved to remove negative items from your credit reports press 1 to permanently remove your negative items or press 9 to be removed from this opportunity.

I had this number on my phone somehow, and I asked who is this? They said I'm sure you have another 20 guys that you can screw up. So you have no reason to ever contact me ever again. Really I haven't a clue what this persons problem is but they are very disrespectful. Just delete them and block them from you phone.

I have been receiving ughly calls from this number.

three calls once a week all the same - CID says Milwaukee WI. Caller unknown - suspect one of the political parties.

Called mid-afternoon. No message.

I not answered challenge. I saw that it was calling from Florida, and I do not know anyone who lives there.

Got a text asking for us to call back about a student loan with Sallie Mae. This is NOT the phone number listed on Sallie Mae's website, is this a scam? When I tried to call it back, a machine answered that said the call may be recorded and immediately put me on hold. Never said the company name that I was calling. The man who answered the phone identified himself as Kevin, but never said the companies name, either. I asked him who he was with and he said "did you or someone you know use this phone number to get a student loan with Sallie Mae?" Still didn't say he was with Sallie Mae, so I hung up. I called him from a different phone, anyway!
