STOP CALLING MY PHONE AND GET YOUR OWN MAN TO CALL GOING TO REPORT THIS GOT PHONE RECORDS TO PROVE IT

I answered the call and it was a prerecorded message saying this was the final attempt to offer lowering my credit card debt. I opted to speak to an operator and when they answered the phone I explained I was being contacted about lowering my debt and that I didn't have a credit card, they immediately hung up. I tried calling back several times and went to voicemail where no message could be left since it was full. I then texted the number asking to be removed from the list and if they called again I would report the number to police. They replied threatening me saying I had the wrong number and didn't know who I was messing with. I have blocked the number.

person calling attempted to get us to verify our net worth and/or income. we refused & he subsequently swiftly put the phone down.

ANOTHER VIOLATION OF THE DO NOT CALL LIST !!!!

I'm pretty sure this is a scam. I received a letter saying I had wage garnishment pending for some debt that I am already paying off. There was no company name written and the number referenced on the document was 888-716-6529.I called that number just to figure out who it was, and got a message saying the number was changed to a Las Vegas number (702-546-7844). At that point, I figured out it was some type of fraud, or at least nothing official from the government. 3 hours later I received a call from a guy out of San Diego saying he was returning a call to me regarding Hardship Assistance. And then he leaves yet another toll-free number (888-293-9626). I haven't called back and the whole thing is really fishy to me. I don't plan to call back either.
