They called me twice today and wanted to know if I wanted to sell my house (I do not)

we do not recognise who was phoning with this no. however we had this ring two times in one day. never ever ended up leaving a msg on the machine & soon as we picked up the telephone there was nothing at the other end of the line.

No Message left caller id says Wells Fargo Bank, Google says in Compton CA. Sorry do not have an account or credit cards with them, and never had.

Call on home phone at 7:08PM ET. CID said "Out of Area", always the 1st CLUE of SPAM b/c legit co's are PROUD to display name. PARTIAL recording said something about air pollution. Said to "press 9 to speak to someone about getting your indoor air quality tested." AC is ATLANTA, GEORGIA, but suspect its SPOOFED. Firstly, if this is real, they've VIOLATED the DNC list by SOLICITING us in the first place. 2ndly, Using ROBODIALED RECORDED MESSAGE - ILLEGAL. 3rd, ONLY COLD CALL SCAMMERS try & get you to react in the moment (Press 9 now) without time to think. Suspect this is the NEW CREDIT CARD PHISHING SCAM. Why are "WE" the first one to get this call - or at least the first to post here?
