Who is this caller and how do i get them to stop?

we got a telephone ring the other day about papers being served & that when we did not ring back instantly these people would serve us at our house or our office. these people gave a case no. & this telephone no. we attempted to ring this no. however this was not a active telephone line.

from PC World Geek Squad team telling me they have been trying to contact me. They will be charging me $299.99 for the next 12 months subscription.

called at 2:42am, couldn't didn't pick up as I was too sleepy to even locate the phone. no messages left.

i have no idea who this is calling me. I am on a do not call list but keep getting calls from all kinds of numbers!
