told me a pre-authorized order had been placed on my account and to press 1 for a representative but I did not authorize anything and the number showed spam so I hung up

she was pestering us in scared for our life.

Did NOT leave a voicemail... I will NOT answer... I get alot of calls like this & if they are legit, they can leave a voicemail!

Get this call every other day. Always the same guy with an accent. States to be with AT&T DirecTV, and that my existing package qualifies for a 50% off. I do not have a package plan with them. Tells me to call back on the number I see on my caller ID, and does not provide his name.

Calls my home phone every day twice, once at 10:30am and once at 4:30pm. Everyday. Never leaves a message and when I call back a recording says, 'Thank you for calling...if you would like to be removed from our call list press 2'. If you press anything but the number 2 you are told that you've keyed in an invalid number and are disconnected. No operators available or anything. Strange to say the least, one would think that if it was necessary to call twice a day to reach me it may be semi important, guess not. Supposedly I'm off the list so we'll see.
