Some lady called and said "this call is only intended for (my name). this is evon wellington calling from (some place that i didnt know) and needs your immidiate attention." and gave the number for me to call back. the name was so muffled that i didnt even catch it.

Seems to be some kind of telemarketing. Apparently they do not respect the Do Not Call List. However, all you have to do is call the number back and you will reach an automated machine that asks you to press 2 if you want your number removed from their list.
